- Urm... I seem to be a tad confused about the Squirrel Interface.
-
- I have got a MediaVision SCSI Portable (double speed) CDROM drive via a
- SCSI-2 Squirrel Interface (v1.12 - I think).
-
- The question is, is it possible to carry audio over the scsi bus ?
-
- I've used tried using CDDA (or wotever tit's called) and I keep getting
- "Illegal Action On This Track" (or summat) and sometimes get a "Invalid
- Field In CDB" error when I try to sample audio data of a audio CD. I
- knew I should've got a Zappo drive.
-
- Freak says that it SHOULD be able to record sample audio thru the
- interface. But don't ya need a 16-Bit bus ?
-
- I used a cdrom prog (can't remember what) and it said that my bus was
- 8-Bit, but I thought it was 16-Bit ....<sigh> ....

- Freak,
- I found out why the drive used up nearly 100% CPU time (BigAnim
- just barely worked), it's because I was using v40.xx of the SetPatch
- command (I was using the QUIET parameter, that's why I didn't know I was
- using this (shit) version) which seriously buggers the multitasking.
